Since the metal foam is a two-phase composite composed of a continuous phase of a metal matrix skeleton and a dispersed phase of a pore or a continuous phase, its properties depend on the metal matrix used, the porosity and the pore structure, and are affected by the preparation process.

Nickel chrome alloy is one of the most common metal alloys with excellent oxidation resistance, wear-resistance, and high-temperature properties. Based on nickel chrome alloy, nickel chrome foam is a highly porous alloy material with excellent thermal conductivity, good electrical conductivity, large porosity, and large specific surface area.

Special Properties

  • Electromagnetic shielding—Magnetic radiation shielding efficiency ≥70dB.
  • Filtration performance—The distribution of nickel chrome foam pores can effectively block solid impurities in liquids and gases, and has high filtration precision.
  • Heat conduction and heat dissipation—Thermal conductivity 120-400w/mK.
  • Corrosion resistance—The surface layer is compounded with nickel and chrome which have high resistance to salt spray corrosion.
