- Conductive Foam
Conductive foam is a polymeric foam combined with conductive material which can make it have permanently conductive properties. It offers a quicker transfer of any static charge to a grounding source or adjacent conductive material. The common polymers that can be made into conductive foams are polyurethane (PU), ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), polyethylene (PE), etc.
Our conductive foam is made of polyurethane foam coated with copper and nickel. The compression is 25% to 75%. The maximum application temperature is between 60 and 70℃. Its conductivity is excellent in all directions (X, Y, and Z).

Conductive foam is a commonly used conductive material in the electromagnetic compatibility design and rectification of electronic products. It can not only absorb the dimensional tolerances of the product structure, fill the gaps between the components, but also provide a stable conductive connection. The excellent mechanical and electrical properties make it an effective solution for tough shielding, grounding, and sealing problems.
As these advantages, conductive foam is widely used in electronic computers, LCD display, laser copier, high speed printer, communication equipment, mobile phones, satellite communications, medical apparatus and instrument, high pressure machine testing, instrumentation, gasket/baffle, socket electronic equipment, seismic conductivity of the package.
Alfa Chemistry offers conductive foam in all standard dimensions and different thicknesses. Custom cut-to-size filters are also possible. To place an order or request a quote, please don't hesitate to contact us.
